Intuitive Art and Cacao

Updated: Aug 14

Does the combination work? if so why?

I have been picking up art tools since I was a young child. They were my survival toolkits in my teen years before yoga found me. Then when I moved to Ireland, I was once again drawn to art to cope with sadness, loneliness, and the challenging weather conditions. There were different ways I used to express myself: experimenting with various art materials, exploring art books, and staying up late to indulge in this healing, transformative work until Reiki came into my life. Things started flowing more effortlessly, and my art took on new shapes and forms as I began holding spaces with Reiki, angel card readings, and art. Cacao came into my full attention in 2021, and since then, my intuitive art has evolved significantly. I love exploring this tool and sharing this space with my tribe. It's a fun, magical space to be in, and I never get tired of it. I hold space for Intuitive art which is therapeutic, flow state rather than lines, shades, accuracy.

"Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures." - Henry Ward Beecher

Intuitive art is a portal to the depths of your soul, a space where conscious thought takes a backseat, and the subconscious mind takes the wheel. It's a liberating experience that invites you to explore the vibrant landscapes of your inner world without judgment or expectation. With each stroke, line, or color, you're unraveling layers of yourself, discovering hidden emotions, and fostering a profound connection to your intuition.

Ceremonial cacao, a sacred beverage cherished by ancient civilizations, serves as a catalyst for this transformative journey. Beyond its rich flavor and nutritional value, cacao contains compounds that work synergistically to create a state of heightened awareness, relaxation, and inspiration. Theobromine, a gentle stimulant, promotes focus and well-being without the jitters associated with caffeine. Serotonin, the happiness hormone, and its precursors found in cacao contribute to feelings of contentment and emotional balance. Anandamide, often dubbed the "bliss molecule," evokes a sense of euphoria and deep relaxation. And PEA, the "love drug," stimulates feelings of excitement and connection.

"Trust the magic within you."

When combined, intuitive art and ceremonial cacao form a potent alchemy for healing and personal growth. As you immerse yourself in the creative process, the cacao's effects deepen your connection to your emotions, allowing for a safe and cathartic release. The boundaries between conscious and subconscious blur, inviting a flood of creativity and inspiration. You may find yourself exploring uncharted territories of your imagination, discovering hidden talents, and unlocking a sense of freedom and playfulness.

Beyond emotional release and creative expression, intuitive art and ceremonial cacao can foster a profound sense of connection to your higher self. By quieting the mind and opening the heart, you create a space for inner wisdom to emerge. This journey can lead to a deeper understanding of your life purpose, a reduction in limiting beliefs, and a strengthened sense of self-worth.

It's important to remember that there are no right or wrong ways to engage in intuitive art or ceremonial cacao. The experience is uniquely yours. Let go of expectations and embrace the process with curiosity and openness. Allow yourself to be guided by your intuition, and trust that the magic will unfold.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or someone who hasn't picked up a paintbrush in years, intuitive art and ceremonial cacao offer a transformative opportunity. It's an invitation to step into the unknown, to embrace vulnerability, and to rediscover the joy of creation. So, gather your art supplies, prepare your cacao, and embark on this extraordinary journey of self-discovery.

Art and cacao together offer a potent blend for soul healing. Cacao opens the heart, stimulating creativity and emotional release, while art provides a visual language to process and express these emotions. This powerful combination allows individuals to delve deep into their subconscious, uncovering hidden wounds and transforming them into art. The process of creation becomes a cathartic experience, fostering self-awareness, resilience, and a profound sense of connection to one's inner world. As the canvas fills with color and form, the soul finds healing and renewal, emerging lighter and more integrated.
